SUMMARY:Zoom Talk - Andy Pedley - Food Hygiene
DESCRIPTION:Andy will be talking to the association by zoom on the 11th October 2022 at 7:30pm.\nHe will talk for an hour or so\, then will take questions. \nAndy retired as an Environmental Health Officer in 2018\, but as a bee keeper he had already developed an interest in both the legal and practical sides of food safety in connection with honey production by bee keepers. In retirement he has continued to research this. \nHe'd met Claire Waring\, then the editor of Bee Craft\, at a course in 2008\, and offered to write an article - this was serialised in Bee Craft in 2009; since then he's given talks at the National Honey Show and authored Central Association of Bee Keepers booklet "HACCP - the Science of Safe Food" .
